Sugar Pine is AN unorganized community in Madera County, California. It’s situated five miles (8 km) north of Yosemite Falls Forks. It’s situated one mile east of CA State Route forty one, between Oakhurst, CA and also the South Entrance of Yosemite Falls park.
Sugar Pine was designed by the Madera Sugar Pine Company in 1899 to 1900. The corporate that had an intensive work operation within the space between the 1890’s and 1931. The mill lake and a few service buildings area unit all that stay of the mill. The corporate housing units, over the years updated, area unit still in use these days as residences and vacation homes. A post workplace operated at Sugar Pine from 1907 to 1934.
