The Mother place of worship African Methodist Episcopal Church was based in 1794 by Richard Allen, associate African-American Methodist minister. The church has been settled at the corner of Sixth and Langobard Streets in city, Pennsylvania, since that point, creating it the oldest belongings unendingly owned by African Americans.
