Big Pine may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Inyo County, California, u. S.. Huge Pine is found fifteen miles (24 km) sou’-sou’-east of Bishop, at AN elevation of 3990 feet (1216 m). The population was one,756 at the 2010 census, up from 1,350 at the 2000 census. The large Pine Band of Owens depression Paiute Shoshone Indians of the large Pine Reservation operates their social group headquarters from here.
