Trinity Church is AN Episcopal Church in downtown metropolis, Pennsylvania and is that the cathedral for the Episcopal bishopric of metropolis. The current Gothic church, the third structure to carry the congregation, was completed in 1872 on the location of a crest graveyard. The site, targeted on a terrace higher than the historic “point” (where the Allegheny River and also the river be a part of to create the Ohio River) was sacred to Native Americans as a burial site.
