Val-des-Monts could be a municipality within the Outaouais region of Quebec, Canada, set regarding forty kilometres north of Ottawa. It’s a population of ten,139 residents. Shaped in 1974 by the merger of the cities of Perkins, Saint-Pierre-de-Wakefield and Poltimore, it consists primarily of farms and mountainous forests.
Several of its residents commute to Ottawa or Gatineau for work. Thanks to its varied lakes, recreational opportunities and cottages its population is boosted throughout weekends and holidays by guests from close Ottawa and Gatineau.The largest of the town’s several lakes is animal product Grand, that is extremely well-liked among cottagers. Most of the folks in Val-des-Monts sleep in the village of Perkins.
