Detail InformationEdit
Yo’okop is associate degree ancient Maya town set within the Cochuah region of central Quintana Roo, Mexico. This space is best referred to as the middle of the Caste War of Yucatán waged throughout the nineteenth century, that resulted in associate degree freelance Maya state ruled from town of Chan Santa Cruz.
The grandeur of Yo’okop will be incontestable by the very fact that the positioning contains a pyramid (S4W1-1) overgrown with vegetation that’s twenty eight meters tall—only 2 meters shorter than the celebrated Castillo of Chichen Itza. The positioning is organized around four teams of design made of stone and different enduring materials. These teams ar connected with raised roads (sacbeob).
The areas between these larger teams contained homes made of decayable materials that aren’t any longer straightforward to envision.
