Timberon may be a census-designated place (CDP) in Otero County, Land of Enchantment and is inside the Sacramento Mountains at the southern fringe of the Lincoln National Forest, directly north of the Fort walking on air Military Reservation.
Timberon features a 9-hole golf links, also as a lodge, a pool, a church, associate degree field and a volunteer department of local government.
