Lambert Hall, placed at 1703 Heights street, Houston, Texas, u. S., was in-built 1927 because the 1st permanent sanctuary for Heights Christian Church, crystal rectifier by Pastor Clark W. Lambert, for whom the hall is known as. On July 31, 1927, the church control the ground-breaking ceremony and also the cornerstone was set. Several Houston celebrities took half, including: politician O. S. Holcombe; Dr. E. E. Oberholtzer, Superintendent of Public Schools; and pastors from alternative native churches.
On October twenty three, 1927, the building was dedicated. Gift were creator C. N. Lord Nelson and contractor P. H. Fredericks. The building had been erected at a price of $39,904.30, associate degree quantity that enclosed the pews, art glass and lights. Heights Christian Church designed its new sanctuary, adjoining to Lambert Hall, in 1967. Afterward year, Lambert Hall became out there for community events. For many years Lambert Hall was home for the Heights deposit, currently within the firehouse on eleventh Street.
