Moyie is AN uincorporated village within the East Kootenay of Canadian province, Canada. It’s situated on route three, nineteen miles (30 km) south of Cranbrook on the japanese shore of Moyie Lake. Once referred to as Grande Quete, the origin of Moyie’s name is, via the stream of constant name, thought to be the French word mouille, that means wet.
