Greenfield could be a city in Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, us. The population was one,749 at the 2010 census. Greenfield is home to the Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, to Greenfield State Park, and to a part of the Wapack path. Originally called “Lyndeborough Addition”, the world was 1st settled by the Lynde family in 1753. Separated from the closest church and college by the Monadnock hills, the residents with success petitioned to create a brand new city in 1791, victimization the name “Greenfield” to focus on the area’s level, fertile ground.
