The hamlet of Mumford lies on the side of the city of Wheatland, south of Oatka Creek on New York thirty six and south of the terminus of New York 383. Mumford traces its origin directly back to a bunch of Scottish emigrants World Health Organization, effortful of English tyranny, left Perthshire for the New World, sailing from Greenock early in March of 1798. Following their arrival in big apple on might Day, they traveled to Johnstown, in Montgomery County.
