Originally opened in 1970 to commemorate South Carolina’s day of remembrance, this 664-acre (269 ha) web site is home to associate exhibit hall, rental facility, a natural home ground facility, in progress archeologic excavations, miles of trails, dozens of picnic tables, a reproduction tall ship, six fireable reproduction cannon, and far additional.
