Carbondale may be a town in Jackson County, within the state of Illinois, at intervals the Southern Illinois region. It’s set at the junction of Illinois Route thirteen and U.S. Route 51, ninety six miles (154km) southeast of St. Louis, Missouri, on the northern fringe of the Shawnee National Forest. Carbondale is that the home of the most field of Southern Illinois University.
