Elora could be a community within the administrative district of Centre Wellington, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. It’s standard for its 19th-century sedimentary rock design, its creative community and also the geographically important Elora Gorge. In 2000 a proposal was created to bring a track with slot machines to Elora. The race track became the topic of abundant dialogue.
The Centre Wellington voters Coalition was fashioned con to the race track, primarily owing to the inclusion of gambling facilities. A 4-3 call to approve the gap was created by administrative district council. It reduced to a 3-3 call and also the city manager at the time George Pinkney, voted in favour of it. In 2002, the Grand stream Raceway opened in Elora, with two hundred slot machines.
