Botwood may be a city in north-central Newfoundland, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It’s in Division No. 6, within the Bay of Exploits. For past decades a harbor was the lifeblood of the community, commercialism news print for the Abitibi Consolidated mill in Grand Falls-Windsor till its closure in 2009. Reed Company of Bishop’s Falls. It had been to be the transportation link for the export of pulp and paper from the fresh designed mill at Grand Falls. The railway became operational by the autumn of 1909, and therefore the 1st cargo of paper from the new mill was sent in Feb 1910. The A.N.D. Company took management of the railway operation in 1910, simply a year when the road was completed.
