Redlands could be a town in San Bernardino County, California, us. The town is found ten miles (16 km) east of downtown San Bernardino.[citation needed] “The initial settler on the location of this Redlands is recorded to possess erected a hut at the corner of what’s currently Cajon St. And Cypress Ave.; he was a sheep herder, and therefore the year, 1865,” rumored Ira L. Swett in “Tractions of the Orange Empire.” Lugonia attracted settlers; in 1869, Barry Roberts, followed a year later by the crop and Glover families. “The initial college teacher in Lugonia, George W. Beattie, arrived in 1874shortly followed by the town’s initial negro settler, Israel Beal.”
