Foley Field may be a baseball bowl in Athens, Georgia, us. It’s the house field of the University Of Georgia Bulldogs school team. The bowl holds three,291 people. Foley Field was inbuilt 1966. The bowl was restored in 1990, an equivalent year that the University of Georgia won the school series in Omaha, Nebraska. Since that renovation, Georgia owns a 378-193-1 (.660) record there (through the 2006 season). Foley Field hosted the 1987 Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournament, won by Mississippi State.
More recently, Foley Field has hosted four NCAA regional tournaments in 2001, 2004, 2006, and 2008. All told four years, the Bulldogs’ team advanced to the school series. Super Regionals were additionally hosted in 2001 that includes Everglade State State University, in 2006 against the University of South geographical region, and in 2008 with North geographical region State University because the guest. All 3 super regionals were won by Georgia, 2 games to at least one. The Bulldogs own a record of 20-7 in NCAA post season games command at Foley Field.
