La Antorcha Diamond State la Amistad (Spanish for “The Torch of Friendship”) could be a monumental abstract sculpture that stands in Downtown city, Texas, u. S. Of America.
The creator of the sculpture is World-renowned Mexican sculptor, Sebastián, and was commissioned by the Asociación Diamond State Empresarios Mexicanos (Association of Mexican Businesspeople). The sculpture was bestowed as a present from the Mexican government to the town of city in 2002. It absolutely was undraped on June twenty eight, 2002, by the creator, city manager Edward D. Garza, and then-Secretary of Foreign Affairs for Mexico and political analyst Jorge Castañeda Gutman.
