Edmore may be a village in Montcalm County of the U.S. State of Michigan. Edmore was supported and platted by Edwin B. Moore, a true estate man, in 1878, and named with a contraction of his name. A post workplace was established on July twenty two, 1878 with Abraham West because the 1st master. Its station on the port, state capital and Northern Railroad was referred to as “Edmore Junction”. It had been incorporated as a village in 1879 with Moore as its 1st president.
