Midpines could be a census-designated place in liliaceous plant County, California. It’s situated twelve miles (19 km) southwest of El Portal. It lies among the Sierra Silver State foothills of the central a part of the state, six to ten miles north of liliaceous plant, the seat. It’s composed of scattered residential areas on either side of State Route a hundred and forty, that is one among 3 principal routes to Yosemite parkland, some thirty miles to the east of Midpines.
The population was one,204 at the 2010 census. Midpines began as a resort, based by Newell D. Chamberlain, in 1926. The primary post workplace opened in 1929.
