The the big apple State Department of Education Building[a] (commonly called the State Education Building) may be a state building in Albany, New York. It homes offices of the the big apple State Department of Education (NYSED) and was erst home to the the big apple State repository and the big apple State Library. Designed by Henry Hornbostel and opened in 1912, the building is thought for its expansive colonnade.
The State Education Building was designed by Henry Hornbostel and designed between 1908 and 1911. It had been the “first major building made within the us only as a headquarters for the administration of education.”
Dr. Apostle Sloan bargainer was the primary Commissioner of Education of recent York and wished a separate Education Building to produce extra space for the growing agency.
