The Walker Sisters Place was a homestead within the nice Smoky Mountains of Sevier County, in the U.S. State of Tennessee. The extant structures-which embrace the cabin, springhouse, and corn crib- were once a part of a farm that belonged to the Walker Sisters- 5 spinster sisters WHO became native legends thanks to their adherence to ancient ways in which of living.
The sisters inheritable the farm from their father, and once the good Smoky Mountains park was fashioned within the Nineteen Thirties, they obtained a lifespan lease. The park Service gained management of the property in 1964 once the last Walker sister died. The extant structures were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
