The Ipsut Creek Patrol Cabin was designed by the us park Service in 1933 in Mount Rainier park to accommodate backcountry rangers. The cabin resembles alternative cabins at Huckleberry Creek, Lake James and 3 Lakes, all designed to plain plans from the Park Service Branch of Plans and styles, supervised by Acting Chief creator W.G. Carnes. The cabin is roughly twenty four feet (7.3 m) by fourteen feet (4.3 m), with a shelter storage shed to the rear.
The cabin was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March thirteen, 1991. It’s a part of the Mount Rainier National Historic Landmark District, that encompasses the complete park and that acknowledges the park’s inventory of Park Service-designed rustic design.
