The 3 Lakes Patrol Cabin was in-built 1934 in Mount Rainier parkland as a vicinity ranger station. The cabin was engineered to a typical set up designed by W.G. Carnes, Acting Chief creator of the parkland Service Branch of Plans and styles, supervised by Thomas Chalmers Vint. The cabin measures regarding thirteen.5 feet (4.1 m) by twenty four feet (7.3 m). It’s a straightforward gable structure with a shed roof over the outside door, supported by brackets. The overhang have an analogous bracket detail. Log ends project conspicuously at the corners. It consists of one space, unfinished except for a wood floor.
The cabin was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March thirteen, 1991.
