Tecuala is each a municipality and a city within the Mexican state of Nayarit. The population of the municipality was forty two,237 during a total space of one,137 km² (2000) whereas the population of the city and municipal seat was fourteen,584 (2000). One among the longest beaches within the World, Playa toreador, is found here.”Tecuala” is that the Castilian sort of the Tecuallan word, which implies “place of the many wild animals”.
The municipality of Tecuala is found within the northern a part of the state of Nayarit, between parallels 22° 14′, and 22° 34’ north latitude and meridians 105° 14’ and 105° 45’ west meridian. It’s finite within the north by the state of Sinaloa and also the municipality of Acaponeta; within the south by the municipalities of Santiago Ixcuintla and Rosamorada, within the east by the municipality of Acaponeta and within the west by the Pacific.
