Ely is the largest town and county seat of White Pine County, Nevada, us. Ely was supported as a coach-and-four station on the horse specific and Central land Route. Ely mining boom came later than the opposite cities on US50, with the invention of copper in 1906. Although the railroads connecting the primary continental Railroad to the mines in Austin and Eureka have long been removed, the railroad to Ely is preserved as a heritage railway by the Sagebrush State Northern Railway and called the Ghost Train of recent Ely.
