Fermont is a city in northeastern Quebec, Canada, close to the Quebec-Labrador border regarding twenty three kilometres (14 mi) from Labrador town on Route 389, that connects to the Trans-Labrador route (Route 500). It’s the seat of the Regional County Municipality of Caniapiscau.
Fermont was based as an organization city within the early Nineteen Seventies to take advantage of made ore deposits from Mont Wright, that’s about 25 kilometres (16 mi) to the west from the town site.
