Kanapali could be a census-designated place (CDP) in Maui County, Hawaii, United States. The master-planned city is found within the previous Hawaii ahupuaa of Hanakao`o, as in the same name of the southern end of Kaanapali Beach’s Hanakao`o Canoe Beach. in line with the u. s. Bureau of the Census, the CDP has a total space of five.7 sq. miles (15 sq. kilometers), of which, 4.9 sq. miles (13 sq. kilometers) of it is land and zero.9 sq. miles (2.3 sq. kilometers) of it (15.03%) is water.
