Burnsville could be a city in Braxton County, West Virginia, us, at the confluence of the miscroscopic Kanawha River and Saltlick Creek. The population was 481 at the 2000 census. Burnsville was incorporated in 1902 by the Circuit Court and named for Captain John Burns WHO operated the primary sawmill in this section of the state and WHO established the city shortly when the shut of the yankee war. It had been named “All West Virginia City” in 1976.
