The University of CA deposit of palaeontology (UCMP) may be a palaeontology deposit situated on the field of the University Of CA, Berkeley. The deposit is inside the depression Life Sciences Building (VLSB), designed by Arthur Brown Jnr. Its collections ar primarily meant for analysis and ar so not accessible to the general public. A restricted variety of fossils from the gathering is on show within the VLSB. Though situated on the Berkeley field, the deposit is that the primary section for storing fossils collected broad. The initial fossils, around that the present assortment has full-grown, were those gathered as a part of the CA geologic Survey from 1860-1867.
