Faith Bible Church, in-built 1917, was the primary church in-built Northridge, situated within the San Fernando vale of l. A. , California. The church was declared a town of l. A. Historic-Cultural Monument in 1975 by the l. A. Cultural Historical Board. The church is within the Carpenter Gothic Victorian vogue. It had been engineered 9 years when the Southern Pacific Railroad 1st arranged tracks through Northridge, that was then referred to as Zelzah station, in 1908. Once it had been engineered, the church was originally referred to as the Norwegian Lutheran Church, because the six families that shaped the congregation were of Norwegian descent.
Built of wood within the Roman building vogue, with the tower at the doorway, the church’s early Gothic vogue is differentiated from the High Victorian Gothic by the thinness of moldings and its typically monochromatic look. One author obseved that, “with its steep stairs and slender girth, it’s sort of a church you’d notice sitting on their lonesome on the Kansas plains.” the first church still stands at 18531 moneyman Street in Northridge. For several years, it had been referred to as the religion Bible Church.
More recently, the church has been noninheritable and operated as a Korean congregation referred to as either the Northridge Free Protestant denomination, or the l. A. Antakiya Church. The sign up the church in March 2008 known it because the l. A. Antakiya Church.
