The general Bridge could be a bridge that spans the river between city, Michigan and girl island. The bridge, that options nineteen total arches across two,193 feet (668 m), provides main access to girl island. Completed in 1923 for $2,635,000 USD, it replaced a largely picket bridge that accidentally caught fireplace and was destroyed in 1915.
The bridge, once called the girl island Bridge, was later renamed the full general Bridge when General full general in 1942. It had been fixed in 1986 at a value of $11.5 million.
