Rowlett derives its name from Rowlett Creek that flows into Lake Ray Hubbard and is a major tributary of the east fork of the Trinity stream. The creek in flip was named for a waterway running through the property of Daniel Rowlett UN agency enraptured from Kentucky to Bonham, TX in 1835. Daniel, UN agency was a member of the Smoot-Rowlett political family, had no direct dealings with the city that currently bears his name. Rowlett may be a town in metropolis and Rockwall Counties within the U.S. State of TX, and residential area of metropolis. The population was 54,869 as of the u. S. Agency 2006 estimate. It is a quiet upscale[citation needed]bedroom community near Dallas in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, located on Lake Ray Hubbard.
