The Crystal Springs Fountain could be a historic margin fountain on previous U.S. Route ten close to Crystal Springs, American state. It had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010. It provided spring water and was a pull-off for travelers.The fountain, fed by AN well, consists of AN elevated reservoir that leads right down to AN open fountain.
The fountain, product of native rock, was made in 1935 by artificer Art Geisler as a replacement for “the previous iron pipe from that travelers accustomed get a cool drink of spring water whereas driving on No. 10.” Its construction was sponsored by the freeway department underneath the auspices of the Works Progress Administration. The fountain is found in a very clearing adjacent to Crystal Springs Lake.
