It had been supported in 1878 by Erastus Snow and William Jordan Flake, Mormon pioneers and colonizers.Snowflake is twenty five miles south of interstate forty via route seventy seven. The Apache Railway provides freight service.According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total space of thirty.9 sq. Miles (80 sq. Kilometer), of which, 30.8 sq. Miles (80 sq. Kilometer) of it is land and zero.1 square miles (0.26 Square Kilometer) of it (0.16%) is water.
