Pinole may be a town in Contra Costa County, California, United States. The population was 18,390 at the 2010 census. It is one of several little bedchamber communities on the I-80 passageway in Western Contra Costa County. it’s settled regarding twenty miles (30 km) northeast of San Francisco, and more or less a 30 minutes drive (without traffic) from San Francisco. Neighboring cities ar state capital and town to the southwest, and Hercules to the northeast. The unincorporated area of El Sobrante lies to the south.
