Ammassivik could be a settlement within the Kujalleq municipality in southern Greenland. The name means that “plain” within the Greenlandic language. The settlement was based in 1889. In 1899 a college was inbuilt the settlement, Isak Lundip atuarfia. The varsity was based by Danish missionaries.
The settlement incorporates a airport, connecting it to the near Nanortalik and Aappilattoq, and with the remainder of the planet. The most transportation is by ocean. Throughout winter, dog sled routes area unit necessary transport links to the encompassing space.
