Merriam is a city in the northeastern part of Johnson County, located in northeast Kansas, within the Central u. s.. As a residential area of Kansas town, Missouri, it’s enclosed within the Kansas town Metropolitan space. It is lined by the cities of land Park to the east and south, Shawnee to the west, and Kansas town, Kansas to the north (in Wyandotte County); the town of Lenexa is less than a mile to the southwest. Merriam is enclosed within the Shawnee Mission communication designation.
