St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Wilmington, Delaware was based Nov twenty three, 1913 as a Roman church on the side of Wilmington to serve the wants of a growing Polish migrator community. The Church was an area of the bishopric of Wilmington, till its closure on Feb fifteen, 2009.
The present church structure is stands on the corner of East seventh and plane tree Streets in Wilmington, Delaware. A good variety of the spiritual articles and objects within the church were distributed and stay in numerous churches within the bishopric of Wilmington. Many of St. Stanislaus’ former parishioners currently attend St. Hedwig Church in Wilmington, Delaware, set on the corner of Linden and South Harrison Streets.
