The Carbon County Historical Society and repository is found sixty three miles from the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone River park at the bottom of scenic Beartooth route. Housed within the 1909 historic Labor Temple in downtown Red Lodge, MT the repository is home to the Greenough and Linderman rodeo collections, Liver Eatin’ Joseph Eggleston Johnston data, Waples family gun assortment, AN interactive coal and arduous rock mine exhibit, the Carbon County archives, and far a lot of. The workers assists with family kinship group and historic analysis. Summer hours: Monday through Sabbatum, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from eleven a.m. to 3 p.m. Winter hours: Tues via Fri – ten a.m. – 5 p.m., Sabbatum – eleven a.m. – 3 p.m. and closed Sundays and Mondays.
