Cisco (formerly, Heaton Station) is associate degree unorganised community in alluvion County, California. Cisco is found on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 0.5 miles (0.8 km) sou’-sou’-west of Cisco Grove. It lies at associate degree elevation of 5938 feet (1810 m).
The Cisco post workplace operated from 1866 to 1941. The name Cisco honors John J. Cisco, money handler of the Central Pacific Railroad.The folk singer and composer Cisco Houston, UN agency later befriended and toured extensively with folk singer, derived his nickname from Cisco, California.
