Gerdes people town (sometimes spelled Gerde’s people town) was a music venue within the West Village in the big apple City. At first opened as a edifice known as Gerdes, by owner microphone Porco, it eventually began to gift occasional composition. Initial situated at eleven West fourth Street (in a building that now not exists), it captive in 1970 to one hundred thirty West third Street. It closed 1987. On January twenty six, 1960, Gerdes changed into a music venue known as The Fifth Peg, in cooperation with Izzy Young, the director of the lore Center.
