Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton Catholic lycee may be a Catholic lycee set in provincial capital, Ontario, Canada. The varsity is a component of the provincial capital Catholic District board of education and serves concerning a thousand students in grades nine to twelve. The building and faculty yard was inbuilt the Sixties on a former parcel of land. To the south, a looking plaza was additionally designed on the rail yards. At first, the building was a public highschool named West Park Secondary. Within the Nineteen Eighties, with declining enrollment within the space and once the extension of full funding to Catholic faculties, the building was transferred to the parochial school Board.
Bishop Marrocco/Thomas Merton Catholic lycee opened in September 1988 with the merger of the Marrocco and Merton faculties. Bishop Marrocco is called once the provincial capital Auxiliary Bishop United Nations agency worked with bishop Pocock within the bishopric of Toronto’s nice efforts within the Sixties to increase the provision of catholic instruction.
