Bel river may be a moneyed residential neighborhood within the south-west quadrant of metropolis, Alberta. It’s set east of the Glenmore Reservoir and also the Elbow stream and west of the community of New World oriole Park and Chinook Center and north of the neighborhood of Mayfair. The metropolis guild course makes up its northern boundary.
Bel river was annexed to the town of metropolis in 1954 and was established as a neighbourhood in 1960. It’s described within the metropolis council by Ward eleven representative Brian Pincott. In 2006 the neighbourhood had a population of 494.
