Graeagle could be a census-designated place (CDP) in Plumas County, California, us. The population was 737 at the 2010 census, down from 831 at the 2000 census. Graeagle is found roughly one hour from Reno via main road 395 and State Route seventy, or one hour from Truckee-North lake via main road eighty nine.
Originally delivered to life by the pioneers of the timber trade, the city of Graeagle was the location of the Graeagle Lumber Company and its “Box Factory” closely-held by the California Fruit Exchange. Thousands were used to make boxes for shipping fruit and vegetables within the Twenties, 30s and 40s. Modernization closed the mill in 1956 and also the city was nonheritable by the West family in 1958.
