Detail InformationEdit

The Carnegie Free Library of Allegheny is placed within the Allegheny Center neighborhood of urban center, Pennsylvania. Given to the general public by bourgeois philanthropist and in-built 1889, it had been the second Carnegie library within the u. S. (the 1st one being designed for steel-workers at Braddock). The running prices were met from native taxes in contrast to the Carnegie Free Library Of Braddock, that received associate degree endowment from Carnegie. Once a mid-2000s lightning strike, the library was enraptured to a replacement building some blocks north on Federal Street. The New Hazlett Theater is currently the first tenant. It had been listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
