The Museum-Grotto Residence is that the oldest building remaining in Zion park. The grot structure was in-built 1924 because the Park depository, then restored as a residence in 1936 to a style by Harry Langler of the NPS Branch of Plans and styles, mistreatment three hundred labor. The masonry is considerably larger in scale than later work.
The grot Residence was singly listed on the National Register of Historic Places, reference range 86003721 on St Valentine’s Day, 1987.
