It claims to be the sole town within the World with the name of Fairborn, a coinage created from the names Fairfield and Osborn; the 2 villages that incorporated in 1950 once the nice urban center Flood of 1913 forced Osborn to maneuver out of a flood plain and aboard Fairfield.
