Municipal sports stadium could be a venue placed within the river Mixhuca Sports town space of national capital. The venue hosted the sector hockey competitions for the 1968 Summer Olympiad.Olympic field-hockey games were command at the Municipal sports stadium and 2 contiguous fields at the river Mixhuca Sports town. Inbuilt 1964 by the national capital government, the open sports stadium has roofed grandstands on both sides of the taking part in field. The installation covers five.7 acres (23,000 m2) and also the grandstands seat vi,160 spectators; extra temporary stands, with more or less one,200 seats, were put in within the finish zones. Rest areas for athletes, dressing rooms, showers and a restaurant were placed during a building adjacent to the sports stadium. The taking part in field was conditioned in accordance with the laws of the International Hockey Federation.
