Auberry could be a census-designated place (CDP) in Fresno County, California, u. S.. The population was two,369 at the 2010 census, up from 2,053 at the 2000 census. Auberry is found on very little Sandy Creek nine.5 miles (15 km) east of Shaver Lake Heights, at associate elevation of 2018 feet (615 m).
According to the u. S. Authority, the CDP includes a total space of nineteen.2 sq. Miles (50 km2), of which, 19.1 sq. Miles (49 km2) of it’s land and zero.1 sq. Miles (0.26 km2) of it (0.32%) is water.
The Auberry post workplace was established in 1884, and following moves in 1887 and 1888, it had been situated at its gift website in 1906. The place is called for Al Yarborough and is spelled phonetically as his name was pronounced. The Auberry Band of the Mono individuals was referred to as unaħpaahtyħ , (that that is on the opposite facet [of the San Joaquin River]) within the Mono language.
